We offer new and renewal license classes. Classes and qualifying range are located our Blackland Gun Works Shop off Highway 79, Taylor, Texas. Click here for map. Classes are also available at your site (See below for details.)

We will create unscheduled classes for special groups at our site or yours. Requires 10 students and includes discounts.

New license classes require a minimum of 10 hours and are taught on Sundays from 9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. See Schedule Below.

Renewal classes are 4 hours. Times and dates vary. See Schedule Below.

New License Class Includes the following:
1. A DPS required 10-hour course from Certified Instructors.
2. Student packet and DPS application packet.
3. Passport pictures (at Blackland Site only)
4. Shooting proficiency on site.
5. Written exam.
6. Proficiency certificate
7. Notorization of DPS affadavits.
8. Multi-media instruction.

Renewal License Class Includes the following:
